Heading back home from Regional today.....

Hi;
Well I attended my first "Regional Convention" with Stampin Up yesterday.....
WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO was it indeed fun!  Three of us drove down from VT on Friday...weather sunny and NO SNOW!  I am just over a year of being a Demonstrator for Stampin Up...in that time I have been blessed with going to the National Convention in Utah last summer and now this Regional Convention in Hartford, CT.  The room was filled with excitement. The girls and I were guessing perhaps there were approximately 350-400 in attendance.  We saw many new demonstrations using product from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog.  A nice group of product to tie us over until the unveiling of the main catalog.  I even won a Prize Patrol item.....a stamp set from the Summer Mini....We can't even order these until April 1st as Demonstrators....So I am excited to win this and get home and create something using this fabulous stamp set....hint...."flowers" te he he....
We head back home late this morning and can't wait to see my kids and family!
Here are a few pictures I will sprinkle throughout the week of my time at the Regional Convention

Heading to Regionals in CT today!

Today I leave for a road trip to CT! Wooo Hooo....Going with 2 of my Stampin Up family members!  Looking forward to a nice girl weekend...Been a rather bad week on the farm...and missing our daughter in Iraq.  Although we are half way through her deployment now, it still seems as Sept. is a long time away....
Hopefully I will see lots of new things this weekend...

Daughter Lora's Contribution to my blog.......

Hi;
My seven year old daughter Lora wanted to make sure I posted her card she made at the last club.  One of the Sassy Scrappers showed her how to use a paint brush and ink pad to create this masterpiece!  Lora enjoyed learning this technique and made this card .  Lora loves to craft! Lora also loves to play hockey! I've included a photo of Lora along with her card for your viewing pleasure!!!

Stampin Up CT Regionals Swap Card......

Hi Papercrafters!
Today I have spent the better part of the day constructing my swap card for the Stamin Up Regional Convention in CT....We(The Three Mouseketeers)....Michelle-my upline and Samantha-my sista....will leave Friday to head to CT...The last time we three went on a trip together it was to the National Convention in Utah last Summer! Oh boy did we have a ball....we will sure to be on our best behavior next weekend----NOT....LOL
So here is my card for the swap....
I used the very bright Sunny Garden Designer Paper along with the cardstock colors of: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White...
Stampin Up Stamp Sets used: Dream Garden and Nature Walk
Stampin Up Ink Pad: Chocolate Chip
Stampin Write Markers: Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait
Stampin Up Punches: 1 1/4 Square  and Curly Label
Off I go to finish my swaps...I am about half way done....Good thing tomorrow is Sunday, because I am going to need another day!
Happy Stampin to all...and to all a good night!

Believe.....

Sometimes you have to believe with all your might that things will work out for the best....
That's my wish for one of my Sassy Scrappers!  I tried this delicious cupcake recipe from Andrea Walford....Ooooooo it is Devinne....Looks yummy enough to perk anybody up!  All made with Stampin Up product except for the dew drops....but they really add some pizazz to the piece....
I thought this was going to be hard, but it was easy....It has to be all hand cut, so that took some time. You get used to those nice Big Shot dies and then when it comes to hand cutting something it is a chore! I have the next 3 days off from school so I know you will be seeing some more posts in the coming days. I still have to make my swaps for Regionals in CT....I usually work well under pressure...that's the story of my life!
Happy Thursday to all!

Elements of Style X 3......

Hi Everyone!
This is a quickie post this evening....I have to get some sleep, as Lora and I go tomorrow to her hockey tournament games...We are even spending the night in a hotel! Lora can't wait to swim along with playing hockey! This is the last of the season ! What will I do with my time...oh...I know...possibly Stampin! Can't wait, but I will miss the hockey...I love watching Camden & Lora play...They will go to a hockey summer program this year for a week! So they will have some skating before next years season...
Tonight's post is from the stamp set "Elements of Style" I used the markers along with the aqua painter to color the flowers! I wanted 3 different looks and this is what I came up with...This set is in the big catalog...
Did you all see the preview of product from the 2011-2012 catalog? I love the DSP and Stamp set that is featured for an April Promotion Stampin Up is having...more info to follow as the date gets closer!
Hope you enjoy these cards!

Upline Meeting this evening!

Our Stampin Family had our upline meeting this evening....What an informative night!  Michelle our leader is so well organized...Everything flowed well and she was well prepared to host us all into her home!  My Stampin Sista Samantha Ovitt of Bakersfield, VT demonstrated how to stamp and color an image on tiles!  I had a request from one of my club girls Sue, and Sam was very helpful in showing us all how to achieve these wonderful gifts! Thank you Sam....
We participated in an Easter 3-D swap....Everyone is so talented...I made my 3-D with the Big Shot Petal Cone die! Picture follows! I still have to get my groove on and start making my swaps for the Stampin Up Regionals held in Hartford Ct in about 2 week.  Samantha, myself, and Michelle Deslandes are going together! Oh....we've been traveling together before! It was so darn fun when we all went to Stampin Up's National Convention last year in Salt Lake City, UT....I don't believe we are going this year for various reasons.....Anyone thinking about going for the first time...you will love it!
Happy March everyone!
