Hi;
At the school where I work we have Secret Santa happening this week! I have never participated in one of these before and am quite excited to make some new items for this event!  My first gift is this fantastic "Joy Banner"  This was fun and super easy to make...It is 85 % Stampin Up product and I had to slip in a little Cricut lettering! Go ahead and whip up one of these banners today...You will be amazed at how fast you can create it!

Sorry I have been extremly busy.....

Yes, my younger two children: Camden & Lora have hockey in full force now...games and practices! Its so hard to even fit dinner in most evenings...although the rink does have some awsome fries!  So the Sassy Scrappers got together Friday at my house...it was a pretty full house with all in attendence!  We made a holiday gift card holder and a flowerpot card! I love doing the flowerpot card, they are real "wowzers" Here is a picture of the flowerpot card and then a pic of my kids playing hockey! In case I don't post again this week....I send Happy Thanksgiving wishes to you all....I will have one missing this year while she is away in Iraq...Love you Amanda

Hi all; Its been a long long day of crafting today...I crafted in the morning, the Sassy Scrappers had their club day today, and then I made this Holiday Tri Shutter Album this evening! I LOVE IT..... using Stampin Up's decorative papers make it so easy to coordinate.... I used the Deck The Halls specialty paper.  The stamp sets used were Bells & Boughs along with Jolly Bingo Bits.  Some Cherry Cobbler binding ribbon to close things up! This is going to be for sale tomorrow at the Craft Show in Swanton.  I think I'm going to try to make another tonight...its going to be a long long night!
Good Night everyone...I'm on a roll......!!!!!

New Card And Took A Mini Vacation!

Hi;
I took a mini vacation to meet our daughter in Las Vegas! It was her last leave before she leaves to Iraq...It was a sad good bye to say the least...We had such a great time...I won lots of money...my daughter on the other hand had to make a few trips to the ATM Machine! Our time together was priceless! Here is a picture of us together in Las Vegas!
Amanda And I In Las Vegas!

Holiday Card Picture....

See blog below...when I posted the blog it wouldn't let me add the pic..grrrr...darn computer software...!
Enjoy.....

Holiday Card

Here is my second holiday card of the season! Simpicity is everything! Cherry Cobbler has to be my most favorite of the new Stampin Up colors...paired with Very Vanilla it gives an old world feel to projects.  The Very Vanilla card stock was embossed using the new Textured Impressions Folder: Northern Flurry.  The ornament from stamp set: ''Delightful Decorations'' was inked with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad, then punched using the "Ornament Punch"...makes things so easy to coordinate. I used the title from " Bells & Boughs" stamp set while using the Stampin Write Marker Old Olive. I used the marker, because I didn't want the letter "A" at the beginning of Merry Christmas in that title. Its such fun mixing and matching different stamp sets to achieve a goal...Also used to hang the ornament was Old Olive 1/4 "  Ribbon
I hope to get a couple more holiday cards created this afternoon. The kids seem to be cooperating with keeping themselves amused with raking leaves! My crafting has been put aside lately due to the various outside chores that need to be done before it gets colder...Brrrrrrr hate to think about that concept of life! I am also getting ready to fly to Vegas on Friday to meet our daughter Amanda.  She has been deployed to Iraq, and is currently training in TX.  She has a couple days of leave before her departure to Iraq, and she wanted me to fly out to Vegas to meet her there...We will have a blast and I can't wait to go! Girl power will be in full force next weekend.... I hope everyone has a great week!

Currently not letting me post the picture of card...working on posting soon.... darn computers!

Craft Fair Card....

Our local Elementary School is having a Craft Fair in a couple weeks to raise funds for their after school program called "Crossroads".  All of my children have been involved in the Crossroads Program and it only seems fitting that I help to raise funds to keep is sustainable for the future... I have been working on cards, novelty items, and Tri-Shutter albums to have on display. This card came from a very talented Stampin Up Demonstrator named Sandi MacIver.  This was posted to her blog last year and I decided I had to case it...So thank you Sandi for the inspiration...You rock the Stampin world with your artistic ability!
This card uses one of my favorite sets: Awash With Flowers
The technique used is called Black Magic colored with Stampin Up's Water Color Pencils and outlined with Stampin Up's white gel pen! It really makes it "pop"
Ink and Card Stock is "Tempting Turquoise", it looks wonderful with black!
I'm still working on the Fall Album, but had to take a break and work on the Craft Fair pieces!
The foliage is at its peak here in Vermont...Such wonderful colors abound where ever you look!
Have a great week everyone!

Fall Mini Album! What Fun......

Hi All;
Two days in a row I get to craft and post to my blog....and its even my 23rd Wedding Anniversary to my wonderful, hard working, and handsome husband....Oh my..I've said all those nice words...guess I have been married too long...just kiddin!
So today while wonderful Hubby is covering the corn bunk I have been busy crafting again! I've had these fall pics of the kids laying around and playing with the French Foliage stamp set...I thought a nice fall mini album would be fun to construct! These materials are not all Stampin Up, but a majority of it is! I used the Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up for the base. All base cuts were made with the Big Shot Die Cutting System from Stampin Up...various dies were used! I used my Stampin Up "Spiral Border" punch...gives the look of a torn piece of notebook paper! The scarecrow pic included a frame of buttons from my button box....I love using buttons when possible! So on to the pictures, I don't want to go on and on...take a look and leave me a comment as to what you think of it!
Happy Sunday all,

Lynette
