My brother's wedding is today!

Yes indeed I have a brother getting married today! What wonderful weather they are having for their outside wedding and BBQ...I made another wedding cake box for them! This is only the second one I have done..the first took me many hours...today's took about an hour and half! Its getting better! The last time I made this, Stampin Up didn't have the pearls for embellishments...I loved adding the pearls today! However I must say Stampin Up no longer carries this tiered cake die for the Big Shot....I did use the Elegant Lines embossing folder for the layers of cake! Aren't the bride and groom cute! Chad and Krista will be much cuter than the ones I constructed for the cake! Have a wonderful day everyone...The humidity is down here in the Northeast and I plan on enjoying the afternoon!

WOW Convention really inspired me!

Well it did inspire me, but I actually have this week to kind of do what I want for a change...No running kids to swim lessons, no hockey camp(next week), no field days(next week)...get the drift! So I started the week by having my Stampin Sista Patti make a trip 2 hours to see me from St. Johnsbury VT! My Stampin Mom Michelle also stopped by after lunch. We had a great time looking through the many swaps Michelle and I received at Convention in Utah. Then that same evening I had two more guests pop in for some Stampin fun! They had so much fun they decided to join as Demonstrators...Woooo Hoooo, congrats to Sue and Shannon for taking the plunge...They are going to have a blast and already have a few people lined up to start a club of their own! Today I was getting ready for my Sassy Scrappers club tomorrow! We are going to make the following two cards and Gift Card Box to decorate at a later point! So my ladies get a sneak peak....enjoy!

P.S. My craft room is in the basement, where its nice and cool...compared to the heat and humidity we have been having...nice place to be cranking out Ice Cream Cones! LOL
Faux Mother Of Pearl Technique...pretty easy!

Isn't he cute...from the set: Polar Party!

Awwwww nothing like a cone on a hot humid day!
